    Position Summary

    We are currently looking for a highly motivated Fiscal Director responsible for supervising the finance department's growth by overseeing all the agency's accounting operations. The ideal candidate will establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. Additionally, the Fiscal Director will collaborate closely with the CFO and CEO on financial planning and analysis (FP&A), which includes forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management. The candidate will report directly to the CFO and CEO of the agency.

    Duties/ Responsibilities:

    Leads all financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

    Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

    Prepares budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data, and recommending plans.

    Develops strategies to increase return on investment and profitability.

    Completes, oversees, and reviews accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, taxes, and compliance.

    Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

    Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.

    Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors.

    Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.

    Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

    Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

    Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions.

    Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.

    Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

    Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

    A bachelor’s in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related major is required.

    A master’s in business administration or finance is a plus.

    At least three years in accounting or finance is required.

    Experience with financial reporting requirements

    Physical Requirements:
