A bit about the work at hand:
Establish your business plan with Vice President of Operations
Model behaviors of wiping equipment, properly wearing face mask, hand washing
Business acumen and accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, expense, revenue and payroll management
Proven track record managing fitness sales department and/or Personal training sales department in large fitness center
Skilled at talent management from recruiting to onboarding to training and peak performance retention
Superior customer service excellence delivery and conflict resolution with clients, staff and colleagues
Keen eye to inspect fitness center for ongoing safety, cleanliness and functionality of all equipment, scheduling of Safe Starts and Healthy Start appointments with accuracy in health history records
Effective at meeting deadlines and adapting schedule to meet ever changing operational demands
Experience implementing annual marketing plan and upholding integrity of the brand
Build and develop working relationships with local corporate accounts and community and civic groups
Highly ambitious, honest and results driven possessing tactful and impactful communications
Personal conviction that embraces fitness as an integral part of the relationship between good health and a positive lifestyle
The ideal preparation for the work:
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Health & Fitness, Exercise Science, Business Management or related field, preferred. 3 or more years of supervisory/personnel management including expertise in fitness membership sales leadership. Proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans, forecast and budgets with a clear understanding of the bottom-line approach to performance. CPR, First Aid Certified. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based platforms.
