We're looking for an individual to take on a hybrid role of working as a Fitness Coach and Sales Associate (each a minimum of 2-3 shift per week). This is an hourly role, about 30-35 hours per week

Here’s more of what the Sales Associate role entails:

Greeting everyone who enters the studio with enthusiasm, energy and knowledge

Presenting the OTF concept to any interested consumers, also known as “intros”

Working at our front desk which includes answering phones and talking to members among other tasks

Giving studio tours

Working hand-in-hand with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout

Selling memberships to help the studio thrive

Following up on prospective clients

Handling members’ concerns in a professional and objective manner with the goal of resolution

Participating in marketing and outreach events

Ensuring all areas of the studio are kept clean and organized

As a Fitness Coach you can expect to perform the following duties:

Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts

Helping members set and achieve goals

Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections if they aren’t

Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing

Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Being a team player

Additionally, you’ll need to meet these requirements:

Hold and maintain (non-expired) a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness

NASM, ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA

B.S. in Exercises Science or a related field is accepted, however a national certification must be acquired within 6 months of employment.

Current and up to date AED/CPR/First Aid certified

Ideal applicant is available on weekday evenings (including Friday) and weekend mornings (Saturday and Sunday)

Specific job duties and selection requirements vary between Orangetheory studio locations and more details can be provided by the studio’s hiring manager if you are selected to move forward in the interview process.
