Fitness Connection - Kid's Club Attendant (Part Time)
Title: Kid’s Club Attendant
Reports to: Club Operations Manager
Supervises: N/A
Position Summary:
The Kid’s Club Associate provides all the necessary primary care for infants, toddlers and direct supervision of older children in the Kid’s Club area. The primary job of the Kid’s Club Associate is to ensure the safety and security of all children while in the Kid’s Club care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct daily facility walk thrus to ensure the cleanliness of the facility
Cares for children in the defined area of the gym for the attending members
Enforce all Fitness Connection company policies and procedures
Ensure that each child is signed in and out by the same parent or legal guardian and only a parent of legal guardian
Ensure parents are adhering to the Kid’s Club policies and signs child in and out of the facility
Ensure that all safety precautions are taken when receiving and releasing children to the parent/legal guardian by using the proper Fitness Connection sign in and out policy
Organizes and participates in recreational activities, such as games for the children
Supervise the activities of all assigned children in the Kid’s Club area and ensure that children remain in the designated area and safe at all times
Sanitize toys, play equipment, and complete daily complete checklist
Ensure that all necessary Fitness Connection paperwork is completed as needed which include: Fitness Connection incident reports and sign in sheets
Pages parent/guardian if necessary to attend to discipline issues and attend to personal needs (diaper changing, changing clothes, restroom assistance)
Answer any/all inquiries from the parents and others
Maintain a positive friendly and caring attitude at all times while interacting with the children and their parents
Provide parents or guardians information of the child’s behavior and any unusual occurrence or activity involving their child.
Repots accidents/incidents to the Operations and General Manager immediately
Ensure that all toys and play equipment are clean and safe
Attend all training and mandatory meetings
Keep manager informed daily of all extraordinary or unusual condition and situations
Physical Demands:
Position duties require standing for long periods of time, daily walking, sitting, lifting, bending, squatting and reaching.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must complete the SRX Certification Training through the National Academy of Fitness & Sports Nutrition (NAFSN).
2-3 years of childcare experience preferred
Basic computer skills
Infant and Child CPR/AED First Aid and CPR certification required
Ability to safely lift and hold infants and children
Ability to setup pay equipment and pick up toys
Ability to communicate efficiently with children
Ability to manage children of all ages in a fast-paced environment
Have patience and compassion in working with children
Be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and determine priorities
Have a high level of professionalism, honesty, integrity and work ethic
Excellent customer service skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours
Willingness to fill in shifts at your Home Club and other locations if needed
Willingness to Support & Participate with Club Promos, On-sites, Community Events, etc.
