If you're a highly skilled manager passionate about fitness, this position as Fitness Manager at a rapidly growing fitness franchise in the U.S. might be your next step!
This is a senior-level role—not for entry-level candidates. We are seeking a Fitness Manager who can step in immediately and handle a variety of clients, from elite athletes like Tim Tebow to everyday individuals aiming to get fit. Whether it’s a 7-year-old athlete training for the first time or a 40-year-old mother looking to improve her fitness, the ideal candidate should thrive in helping all types of athletes achieve their goals.
If you're excited by the idea of having a positive impact on thousands of lives, contributing to the growth of a renowned brand, and working with top names in the industry, then this position is perfect for you. But if you don’t enjoy working with a diverse age range and skill set (from kids to adults), please don't apply.
Key Qualifications:
Character: Our ideal candidate must have world-class character, aligning with D1’s core values. We work hard and play hard, so we need someone who shows up every day with high energy and a positive attitude. Consistency is key—if you can't bring that energy every day, this may not be the right fit.
Coaching Ability: We need a Fitness Manager who can work with anyone from ages 7 to 60, whether in a group setting or one-on-one. We train a wide range of clients, from young athletes to professional sports players. Ego has no place here—we love coaching everyone and need someone who shares that passion.
Job Responsibilities:
Create a Positive Training Environment: Foster motivation and positivity for all athletes.
Maximize Client Retention: Provide top-notch coaching, training, and accountability to retain clients.
Adapt Training: Modify and adapt exercises based on the individual’s needs.
Teach and Guide: Always be passionate about improving athletes’ lives, regardless of age or experience.
Deliver High-Quality Coaching: Lead group and individual training sessions with expertise, energy, and commitment.
Stay On Time: Ensure workouts start and finish on time.
Program Alignment: Help clients align with the right program for their goals.
Safety: Emphasize safety by teaching proper techniques and ensuring correct form.
Additional Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the local coaching team to deliver exceptional training.
Work with the General Manager to ensure coaching standards are maintained, and all coaches are certified through the D1 Way.
Conduct assessments and goal-setting sessions for athletes.
Provide ongoing training and development for coaches through meetings and education.
Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of training spaces.
Participate in marketing events such as competitions and combines.
Required Qualifications:
Certification: Must hold a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in strength and conditioning or related fields.
Certifications: At least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA (preferably CSCS).
If you're ready to elevate your career and take on a key role in shaping the future of D1 Training, we encourage you to apply!
