Position Summary

The Flatbed/Rollback Truck Driver reports to the Operations Shift Lead and works in collaboration with the Dispatch Team and Operations Manager. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles and other equipment using a flatbed or rollback truck while adhering to our company´s standards and policies. This role requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and professional conduct to uphold our company´s standards.

A day in the life of the Flatbed/Rollback Truck Driver would be picking up cars from either of our local lots and taking them to the auction or another predetermined location, going to an impound yard and picking up cars to then store at our location, picking up voluntarily surrender and scheduled pick-ups from customer locations, occasionally towing a vehicle that is too large or heavy for a asset recovery repossession specialist with them on scene.

Essencial Duties and Responsabilities

• Safety: Places the safety of the public, equipment, and transported assets as the top priority.
• Attendance: Adheres to the assigned schedule in accordance with our company´s attendance policy.
• Vehicle Servicing: Ensures equipment is maintained in compliance with company policy.
• Supervisor Notification: Reports any equipment malfunctions or damage immediately to a supervisor.
• Vehicle Protocols: Follows protocols for vehicle tracking, securing loads, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment.
• Transport Tasks: Safely loads, secures, and transports vehicles or equipment as assigned, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Documentation: Accurately completes all required trip logs, delivery reports, and related paperwork.
• Performance Expectations: Meets performance goals and expectations as defined by management.
• Legal Adherence: Follows all applicable state, local, and federal laws, including traffic and towing regulations.
• Tribal Compliance: Complies with laws and regulations specific to Tribal Reservations, if applicable.
• Chain of Command: Adheres to company communication protocols and escalation procedures.
• Incident Reporting: Immediately report any escalated events or accidents to the supervisor.
• Electronic Communication: Follows policies regarding the use of company-issued devices and communication systems.
• Team Collaboration: Assists in training new team members as directed by management.
• Additional Duties: Performs other responsibilities as assigned by a manager.
