Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for fleet management? We're seeking a dedicated Fleet Assistant to join our team in Fort Myers, United States. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining our vehicle fleet's efficiency and ensuring smooth operations.

Hiring Fleet Assistant at Fort Myers Airport $20.74/hr.

• Perform daily fleet inventory checks to ensure accurate vehicle tracking and management
• Assist the Fleet Manager in scheduling maintenance and repairs, obtaining estimates, and coordinating with dealerships and body shops
• Prepare new vehicles for rental, handling documentation, spare keys, and ensuring proper tagging in our inventory system
• Support vehicle disposal preparations, including condition reports and verifying equipment completeness
• Assist with accident reporting, subrogation tasks, and coordinate tag registrations and renewals for all vehicles
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all fleet-related activities
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient fleet operations
• Respond to inquiries from team members and customers regarding vehicle status and availability
• Identify and report any discrepancies or issues in fleet inventory or documentation
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements in fleet management procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in the automotive or car rental industry
• Basic computer navigation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts
• Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10% of the time)
• Must be at least {AGE} old and authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to wear a company uniform
• Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
