For over 50 years Wheelchair Transport Service has been providing top of the line customer service and non-medical transportation throughout the Tampa Bay area. We are the first, the oldest and the best wheelchair transportation service in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco, Hernando, Manatee and Polk counties. We proudly serve the veterans at the James A. Haley VA and Bay Pines VA.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Clean and detail interiors and exteriors of transit and mini vans, ensuring a professional appearance.
    • Vacuum, sanitize, and organize vehicle interiors.
    • Wash, wax, and polish exteriors, including windows and mirrors.
    • Maintain inventory of car cleaning supplies and request new supplies as needed.
    • Fuel up the vehicles each morning and ensure vehicles have all the necessary equipment onboard.
    • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as filling up fluids, changing wiper blades, etc.
    • Support fleet upkeep and assist with other vehicle-related tasks as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Clean driving record

    Physical Requirements:

    • Occasionally: Kneeling, stooping, bending, leaning. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
    • Frequently: Hearing/listening, clear speech, reaching, etc.

    Schedule: Full Time

    Monday - Friday 7:00a - 4:00p

    • after 90 days, 6:00a - 3:00p

    Pay:

    • $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
