  • Responsibilities

    JOB FUNCTION:

    This position is responsible for coordinating all maintenance efforts at the assigned location, ensuring that all operators and mechanics are properly trained, and that equipment is maintained to company standards. This position will work under the direction of the Corporate Fleet Manager

    **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: **

    1. Coordinate and lead multiple projects, troubleshooting equipment operational problems, and ensuring company standards are met.

    2. Prioritize equipment needs and coordinate workflow to mechanics.

    3. Repair specific mechanical failures as needed.

    4. Train mechanics on the specifics of MPW equipment.

    5. Maintain and repair equipment at the assigned location.

    6. Authorize repairs to be done at the location.

    7. Track and monitor equipment being repaired.

    8. Perform other duties as directed.

    9. Track and Submit Warranty Repairs

    10. Direct/Coordinate Employee’s

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Position must be able interact with operations, and production teams and provide support as needed.
    • Create an objectives list for the location at the beginning of each year.
    • Reduce equipment breakdowns on jobs to zero.
    • Enhance the overall condition of the equipment.
    • Identify and monitor all outside repair sources related to assigned location.
    • Ensure consistency of maintenance repairs.
    • Assist in the management of inventory.
    • Hiring/Managing/Evaluation of mechanics.
    • Evenly rotate focus of services at the location.
    • Perform other duties as directed.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. 7-10 years of mechanical experience.

    2. 3-5 years of supervisory experience.

    3. Strong troubleshooting skills.

    4. Ability to audit, train, teach, and evaluate.

    5. Professional oral and written interpersonal communication preferred.

    6. Must be willing to travel if necessary.
