Job Description

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician , you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of transportation vehicles. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting systems like ADA equipment, air conditioning, brakes, engines, and more. You will perform both preventative and corrective maintenance, ensuring that vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will utilize advanced diagnostic tools, conduct vehicle tests, and maintain thorough documentation of repairs.

• Level A Mechanic preferred, typically 5-7 YOE (minimum pay $37/hr)
• Level B Mechanic acceptable, typically 3-5 YOE (minimum pay $32/hr)
• Level C Mechanic, typically 1-3 YOE (minimum pay $27/hr)
• Pension and 401k Match offered
• 4 day work week available at Tempe location
• 5 day work week available at Tempe and Mesa location

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience with heavy equipment maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of systems such as brakes, engines, air conditioning, electrical, and fuel systems.
• Experience with diagnostic computer equipment is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a commercial driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in physically demanding environments.
• A safety-first mindset, with experience following all safety protocols.
• Flexibility to work various shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• ASE certifications are a plus and will result in an hourly rate increase.
