    Job Description

    NBCUniversal is looking for a Fleet Service Technician to join the Studio Operations team in Doraville, GA. In this role, you will support the repairs and maintenance of all on-lot vehicles which includes largely rentable production assets and a small fleet of golf carts. You will also be the primary liaison for an external vendor as needed.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Work closely with the Manager of Transportation, Transportation Scheduler, and broader Transportation team for billing, outsourcing, and scheduling with production
    • Support basic maintenance on all related rental and in house transportation equipment (i.e., tire changes/repair, light mechanical work, general vehicle service)
    • Data entry for repair and maintenance records
    • Administer check in and check out procedures with the direction from the Manager of Transportation and Transportation Scheduler.
    • Fleet oversight
    • Responsible for vehicle and equipment presentation
    • Responsible for liaising with 3rd party providers for major equipment repairs
    • Responsible for vehicle diagnostics, and troubleshooting
    • Golf cart maintenance and repair
    • Responsible for annual vehicle inspections
    • Subject to U.S.D.O.T. mandated drug and alcohol testing
    • Will own and provide basic mechanical tools

    What You Must Have:

    • 5+ years of vehicle mechanic experience
    • 2+ years’ experience and proven ability to perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle types
    • 2+ years exhibiting strong communication and relationship management skills with all levels and types of production and fleet roles
    • Class B Driver’s License

    What Would Make You a Stand-out:

    • Class A Driver’s License
    • Fleet repair and maintenance experience
    • Prior billing and vendor partnership experience

    Additional Requirements:

    • Required On-Site : This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.
