Flexographic Printing Press Operator
Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified individual to operate a Flexographic printing press. The ideal candidate will bring a solid blend of knowledge, experience, and practical skills to effectively manage all tasks associated with running the flexographic printing machine.
Primary Responsibilities:
Setup, calibration, maintenance, and operation of a Mark Andy 16" - 20" flexographic printing press.
Install and adjust Anilox rollers, plates, inks, and dies, ensuring production quality remains consistent.
Notify supervisors of any required repairs or parts replacements.
Maintain equipment in good condition, ensuring safety and functionality.
Familiarity with and adherence to all relevant documentation, following the guidelines outlined for the printing process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; basic computer skills needed.
A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in flexographic printing or related fields preferred.
Ability to read and follow safety procedures, operational manuals, and maintenance guidelines.
Mechanical aptitude, either through testing or previous experience.
Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Strong attendance, reliability, and flexibility, including the willingness to work overtime when necessary.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
