Job Description Floater Custodian, Livonia and surrounding areas

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 6:00 pm - 12:00 am

Weekends required (flexible schedule)

20-30 hours/week

Livonia and surrounding areas

Responsibilities:

Experienced floor technician: Operate floor scrubbers (side-by-side, walk-behind, ride-on), strip & wax, buffing, carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning* (*will be trained)

Willingness to drive to multiple buildings per night

Ability to climb a ladder up to 10 feet

Familiar with general cleaning/custodial work

Cover shortages and clean buildings when necessary (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, etc.)

Supply buildings with equipment and chemicals

Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills:

Trainable

Ability to work with others efficiently

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies (will be trained)

Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets

Supervisory custodial experience preferred

Integrity and ability to work independently

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license

Reliable mode of transportation

Pass background check

Stay Clean Solutions, HQ in Livonia has been servicing the Metro Detroit Area for more than 35 years. We are looking for a dedicated janitor or custodian to add to our team. Person(s) must be able to take care of our building and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
