We're a growing showroom looking for a dedicated, customer-focused salesperson to join our team!
Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented salesperson with a passion for design. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and a strong understanding of design concepts, particularly in floor covering, kitchen, and bath design. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in selecting floor coverings, kitchen, and bath products that meet their needs and preferences
Provide expert design recommendations and consultations, guiding clients through the design process
Manage sales transactions and ensure excellent customer service from start to finish
Build and maintain strong client relationships through follow-ups and providing ongoing product knowledge
Collaborate with the design team to deliver customized solutions that align with clients’ vision and budget
Stay up to date on product trends, new arrivals, and industry best practices
Maintain showroom displays to ensure they are organized and visually appealing
Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the showroom
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the floor covering, kitchen, or bath design industry
Strong design sense with the ability to advise on aesthetics, materials, and layout
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering top-quality service
Proficiency in design software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar) is a plus
Ability to learn new products and trends quickly
Positive, professional attitude and a passion for interior design
