Job Description:

As a Floor Tech/Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of our facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring that all floors are kept in pristine condition, and you will assist with general maintenance tasks as needed. This position requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, maintain, and restore all types of flooring using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, buffing, stripping, and waxing floors.
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance tasks within the facility, including light bulb replacement, plumbing checks, and painting as needed.
- Monitor the condition of floors and report any damage or required repairs to the supervisor.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained and stored properly.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to requests from staff and management in a timely manner.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in floor care and maintenance preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, including their proper use and safety precautions.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
