    Job Description

    Commercial Flooring Contractor is looking to hire a PROJECT COORDINATOR to work in their corporate office in Oklahoma City, OK. This person will offer administrative support to managers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide administrative support to department as directed by manager. Responsible for arranging various department functions
    • Assist department with the preparation and administering of offsite bid spreadsheets
    • Excellent phone skills - answering/directing calls and collecting important information
    • Responsible for consultants’ document processing and check requests
    • Processing all necessary documentation for vendor set up
    • Review materials checklist and order samples as needed
    • Purchase office products as instructed
    • Accurate correspondence typing, answer phones, fax documents, copy documents, schedule meetings, etc.
    • Track orders to reconcile reproduction invoices
    • Interface as necessary with other departments in a professional manner
    • Set up and maintain any and all necessary files
    • Assist department in preparing all necessary documentation in order to facilitate all land transactions, including green folders and related material as required
    • Maintain showroom
    • Perform all other duties as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • One (1) – two (2) years as administrative assistant
    • One (1) year in HOME-BUILDING/COMMERCIAL FLOORING related experience
    • High school diploma or GED required; college or business school desirable
    • Good Computer skills /Procent
    • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required
    • Notary preferred, but not required
    • Excellent written, oral, organizational and basic math skills
    • Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner
    • Work with Supervisor/Project Manager
    • Ability to handle priorities under pressure
    • Interact well with co-workers
    • Understand and follow work rules and procedures
    • Accept constructive feedback
    • Team player
    • Monday -Friday office, hours are 8-5:00

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS THIS IS PRIMARILY A SEDENTARY OFFICE POSITION WHICH REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO OCCASIONALLY BEND, STOOP, REACH, LIFT, MOVE AND CARRY OFFICE SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS WEIGHING 25 POUNDS OR LESS. FINGER DEXTERITY IS REQUIRED TO OPERATE COMPUTER KEYBOARD, CALCULATOR AND TELEPHONE EQUIPMENT. MAY BE REQUIRED TO OPERATE A MOTOR VEHICLE.
