    Job Summary

    We are seeking a full-time project manager & sales associate who will provide excellent customer service and flooring expertise to our customers, contractors and installers

    Primary Responsibilities

    · Providing customer service on the salesfloor, over the phone, and via email . Project Managing - working with customers, contractors, and installers · Assisting customers in making flooring selections and design decisions

    · Building flooring estimates and answering customer questions regarding estimates

    · Building reasonably accurate ballpark estimates for customers

    · Scheduling jobsite assessments with customers

    · Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the showroom

    · Placing orders for materials and keeping customers updated on order ETAs

    · Processing payments from customers

    · Maintaining current knowledge of the products in the showroom

    · Helping to keep store pricing current

    · Checking order confirmations for inconsistencies

    · Operating the forklift when necessary (training/certification will be provided)

    · Occasionally assisting with material deliveries to jobsites

    · Occasionally picking up materials from vendors

    · Assisting with other miscellaneous operational or warehousing tasks as needed

    Qualifications

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Minimum of 2 years sales experience preferred

    Minimum of 2 years flooring experience preferred (but we are willing to train)

    Strong math and computer skills are required

    Quickbooks experience is a plus

    Design experience is a plus

    Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively

    Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service

    Willingness to work well in a team environment

    Willingness to work a flexible schedule
