    Our vibrant hotel seeks a vivid and detail-oriented service specialist to provide our guests with an impressive dining experience. The Food & Beverage Attendant is in charge of delivering the topmost level of service possible to customers in an effective and gracious manner at the hotel. They should be well-acquainted with hotel-brand protocols, customer expectations, and the local region. This is a full-time job with evening and morning shifts. Responsibilities: • Greet customers upon arrival to the dining area • Provide gracious and professional food and beverage service in an efficient manner • Answer questions and create an upbeat atmosphere for guests • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hyatt Place standards • Clear and clean tables as guests leave • Retrieve and deliver food and beverage items in a timely manner to assigned areas • Maintain proper set-up of the dining area • Preparation of food according to Hyatt Place/brand standards and ensuring temperatures of hot and cold items according to health code regulations • Clean and sanitize all equipment in the kitchen and dining areas • Sweep and mop floors in kitchen floors and vacuum the dining area • Support other areas or roles when necessary • Ensure all food orders are put and stored in proper places with proper dating • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times • Clean out all refrigerators and reach-in coolers daily; label, date and rotate items • Graciously respond to guest concerns or requests and report the situation to the Manager • Execute daily side work with enthusiasm and motivation Qualifications: • Experience working in food service is preferred • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and co-workers • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills Compensation: $14 hourly
