Job Summary

We are seeking an expeditor/food runner to join the team at our fast-casual barbecue restaurant. As an expeditor, you are the link between the kitchen and our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining our sides, while receiving meats from our line cooks to bag or plate for our customers. If you are organized, have an eye for accuracy, and can stay calm under pressure, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Serve customers their meals in an efficient manner

Communicate food orders to the kitchen staff

Accurately place orders together without missing items

Maintain and serve sides and salads

Remove dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware from tables

Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

Experience as a busser, barback, food runner, or similar position is preferred

Familiarity with food safety guidelines

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Friendly and outgoing personality

Availability to work evening and weekend shifts
