Key Responsibilities:
Foster unity and collaboration between the Harvest Market and UMMA’s broader mission
Manage scheduling to support market hours, transitioning to a full-time schedule.
Promote a positive, inclusive work culture focused on teamwork and professionalism
Uphold policies and maintain clear communication and accountability
Ensure compliance with food handling and safety standards
Maintain a safe, clean environment that meets health code standards
Align food selections with community needs, promoting fresh, nutritious options.
Collaborate on partnerships to expand market offerings

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Public Health, Community Development, or a related discipline
Additional certifications or training in food safety and handling may be beneficial
3 – 5 years’ experience in program management, preferably in a community service or food market setting
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Experience with scheduling and managing both part-time and full-time staff
Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
Ability to foster a positive and inclusive work culture
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Commitment to developing and maintaining positive community relationships
