The Food Service Worker responsibilities will be but not limited to:
· Delivers superb customer service.
· Adhering to hospital policies.
· Cleaning and stocking the cafeteria/retail area as needed.
· Engaging with the customers/staff to get feedback on meals so that adjustments and improvements can be made.
· Returns soiled and dirty dishes to the dish room area.
· Keeping work area clean.
· Assist with kitchen operations in down time and when the census is low.
· Utilizes POS to check out guest.
· Manages time and duties professionally and respectful.
· Assist the utility workers with clean if needed.
· Participates in team meetings and trainings.
· Always follows the department dress code and appearance policy.
· Reports malfunctioning or inoperable equipment to Operations Manager.
· Maintains composure in demanding and difficult situations and attempts solutions.
· Helps with other duties as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – High School Diploma, must be able to read, and perform simple math and efficient with technology. Basic Management Experience – N/A Basic Functional Experience – Be well-versed in-patient diets, regulatory and sanitation practices.
