Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Food Services Supervisor - Full Time - Evening.
In this role, the successful candidate Works under the direction of the Chef Executive Supervises directs and coordinates the activities of the Lobby Cafe personnel with the goal of maintaining optimal customer flow and satisfaction
Job Responsibilities:
* Monitors employee performance to ensure food production customer service and sanitation standards are maintained
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Orders all food and supplies in accordance with established par levels
* Processes all paperwork to insure invoices are processed in a timely and accurate manner
* Maintains kitchen servery equipment storage areas and dining areas in a neat and sanitary manner in accordance with departmental and regulatory agency standards Ensures accurate dating and proper rotation FIFO of all food items Maintains Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points HACCP temperature logs for all food and equipment
* Prepares employee work schedules ensuring proper staff coverage in accordance with budgeted FTEs with minimal use of overtime
* Assists in serving customers to ensure optimal customer satisfaction
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent combination of experience and education 0 2 years In Food Service or Retail Operations Strong communication both oral and written and customer service skills Ability read well and write legibly Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
Preferred Qualifications:
Other Completion of 120Hour Dietary Managers course 1 2 years In a Supervisory capacity Basic computer skills

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $62,400.00 - $62,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
