Food Truck Cook Job Summary:

Street Side Cafe' Cooks take pride in every plate, making sure they are picture perfect. Always ensuring the freshest products are being used to prepare our dishes, the line is maintained, clean, organized and stocked for every event. The ideal candidate has full-service restaurant experience, always follows proper health code requirements, food rotation, labeling and sanitation practices.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Able to follow written recipes and order tickets

Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress

Outstanding communication, leadership, organization and customer service skills

Current knowledge of culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes

Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Accuracy and speed in executing tasks

Familiar with industry’s best practices

Ability to work on your feet for 8 or more hours a day

Must be available nights and weekends

Able to work in varying weather and temperature conditions

Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced, small kitchen environment

Works well under pressure

Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a time on a regular basis
