A Food Truck candidate will need to be passionate about Southern style food and BBQ as well as hospitality, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, be physically capable of working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, and be flexible with their schedule. They will be responsible for preparing food items, maintaining a clean and organized truck, communicating effectively with others, and performing various duties to help with the truck as assigned by management. This position will require line cook experience as well as guest service experience.

What the Candidate Will Do:
Leads Food Truck Team and directs daily operations including opening and closing the truck for events, managing team breaks and shift changes, completing manager log entries and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Motivates and coaches team members and assists in training of new food truck team members.
Works as a team player to support the needs of the Food Truck.
Takes responsibility for closing down the food truck properly from a cleanliness standpoint and admin standpoint. This includes cleaning, storing of left over food and closing the cash drawer and preparing the bank deposit at the end of the shift.
Oversee the day-to-day operations for the Food Truck as well as assisting with in restaurant tasks for Line Cooks and/or prep. There is an absolute REQUIREMENT that the person who assumes this role be able to work between both positions and to integrate into the Kitchen in House in a way that supports both the Food Truck and Restaurant.
This includes prepping items needed for service, stocking the truck for service, and cleaning required for maintaining a clean truck
Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
Ability to adapt and pivot quickly when faced with unexpected challenges or changes in direction.
Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative solutions and keep events/shifts on track, all while working independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity.
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 100 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
Must have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
Must have a good driving record.
