We're seeking passionate new Associate DVMs, particularly those with experience in emergency and urgent care services, to help us provide top-notch care around the clock. By joining us, you'll be instrumental in our mission to offer exceptional veterinary services whenever our community needs us.

    We are looking for Associate Veterinarians to join our fully staffed hospital with an average of 5-8 technicians per doctor along with state-of-the-art CT, fluoroscopy, rigid and flexible endoscopy, two LOGIQ ultrasound machines, digital radiography, Snyder oxygen unit, Hi-flow oxygen, two critical care cribs, defibrillator, and more. Two surgical suites with Ligature, minimally invasive surgical tower, and C-arm. Separate ICU for post-op recovery and critical care cases. Our amazing technicians are thoroughly trained in anesthesia, ultrasound, CT, X-rays, medical record writing and history taking.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Supports excellence in client experience, especially during urgent situations
    • Works collaboratively with HM, Medical Director, and team
    • Practices high-quality emergency and critical care medicine
    • Quickly assesses, diagnoses, and treats animals in urgent conditions
    • Performs necessary emergency surgical procedures
    • Prescribes and administers timely interventions and care plans
    • Interprets emergency diagnostic tests for prompt treatment
    • Maintains clear patient records for effective case handovers
    • Takes the lead in emergencies, providing expert urgent care
    • Stays current with ER techniques and critical care practices
    • Manages a variety of complex urgent cases effectively
    • Guides ER team during high-pressure situations
    • Communicates clearly with pet owners about critical situations
    • Provides compassionate guidance in urgent end-of-life situations

    Competencies And Experience:

    • Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of Arizona
    • 3+ years of clinical experience, preferred
    • ER experience, preferred
    • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Time-management and delegation abilities
    • Exercises sound judgement and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills
    • Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others
