Project Engineer (Audio Visual)
Job Description
We have entry-level up to senior-level positions available. Entry-level positions will be coached and challenged through an extensive training and development period. Engineers are an integral part of Ford and have a significant role in the designed and installed systems. Ford provides A/V systems for many facilities, such as arenas, airports, schools, stadiums, houses of worship, healthcare facilities, entertainment, military, government, broadcast, production, and corporate. Typical A/V systems include boardrooms, meeting rooms, training rooms, videoconferencing, lighting systems, command and control rooms, network operation centers (NOC), paging systems, sound systems, video presentation systems, and more. Most systems are digital and controlled by computers using software designed by Ford engineers. The engineer is responsible for designing the systems, preparing CAD system drawings, programming DSP, designing AV computer control systems, meeting with clients, inspecting, testing, working at job sites, and training the customer. Every engineer is expected to approach all projects emphasizing safety, quality design, installation, and service.
