    We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Ford Rouge Factory Tour Presenters to deliver presentations and programs to the public during daily and event programs and special events. Presenters conduct presentations that inform, educate, and entertain our guests with the highest level of safety and customer service to all guests, fellow employees, and volunteers.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Delivers presentations to the public on a daily basis using the guidelines, speaking points and training materials provided by Ford Rouge Factory Tour leadership.
    • Uses technology per the direction of Technology Engineer and Senior Manager to operate theaters.
    • Performs related operational tasks such as maintenance, preparation, clean-up and other duties as necessary.
    • Steps onto Ford Rouge Factory Tour and school/group tour buses to welcome and orient large groups of children and adults.
    • Ensures the safety of visitors and staff through appropriate knowledge and action.
    • Ensures appropriate appearance and operation of the daily work site.
    • Helps protect artifacts, structures and landscapes from damage.
    • Communicates regularly with team members and managers about operational issues and experiences.
    • Participates in training sessions and engages in on-going learning regarding technology, artifacts, Ford specific materials, plant processes etc.
    • Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues and opportunities.
    • Acts as a team player and provides expertise within the team and with other teams as appropriate.
    • Performs other duties as necessary.

    Your Qualifications

    • 18 years of age or older
    • Public speaking, acting or role-playing experience preferred

    Additional Requirements & Important Information

    • Must successfully complete basic presentation skills training
    • Weekday, weekend and holiday availability required
    • Presenters often work outdoors in all weather as well as in a plant environment where the temperature can fluctuate significantly
    • Frequent work in a technology intense environment with strobe lights
    • Ability to wear an earpiece so you will be able to listen and respond to radio communication
