Job Summary
We are seeking a Foreman to join our team! In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our facility, including equipment maintenance and personnel management. You will be responsible for training employees and ensuring they adhere to all safety regulations. The ideal candidate has a proven track record as a Shop Foreman or a history of strong leadership.
Responsibilities
Managing workers: Assigning tasks, tracking productivity, and mentoring crew members
Ensuring safety: Ensuring that workers follow safety guidelines and regulations
Managing quality: Ensuring that work meets quality standards
Managing costs: Negotiating with suppliers and helping to keep projects within budget
Managing projects: Planning, organizing, and participating in construction projects
Managing equipment: Ensuring that equipment and materials are available and in good condition
Managing communication: Relaying information from management, communicating changes, and providing feedback
Other Duties
Checking plans and schedules
Handling problems and disputes
Ensuring that sub-contractors meet health and safety standards
Maintaining records, and Monitoring cleanliness and orderliness
Manages all aspects of a construction project, from planning to completion.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Foreman or similar position is preferred
Foreman training or certification is preferred
Deep understanding of work optimization methods
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and crisis management skills
Knowledge of all relevant safety regulations
