    Field Application Engineer
    As a Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will provide technical support for customers
    designing in GigaDevice non-volatile memories, microcontrollers, power devices, and
    sensors. You will work closely with the sales and marketing team to drive technical
    presentations and discussions with customers. You will provide pre- and post-sales
    technical support which also includes understanding the customers application for the
    assistance in the qualification of GigaDevice products and develop application
    notes. This position will be key in promoting existing products and for future product
    development. You will also work closely with the engineering team and the technical
    marketing product managers.
    Responsibilities
    Provide technical support both on-site and virtually.
    Prepare and present technical presentations for pre-sales support.
    Work closely with customers to get a thorough understanding of their design
    requirements.
    Understand the product framework in the field and gather market information.
    Assist in the sale of Design-In and Design-Win.
    Understand market trends in the general embedded market and MCU products
    specifically.
    Provide relevant technical training.
    Requirements
    MS in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
    Experience in the electronics industry, with emphasis in Arm Cortex-M based
    microcontroller products. Experience with industry's most popular MCUs. Familiarity
    with the RISC-V ISA is a plus.
    Ability to read, understand and develop C/C++ Code for Arm Microcontrollers.
    Knowledge of Operating Systems like FreeRTOS is a plus.
    Knowledge of IDE tools including Keil uVision v5 and IAR Embedded Workbench.
    Ability to read electronic design schematics and use of electronic components
    including measurement instruments. Knowledge of EDA tools is a plus.
    Familiar with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth protocols.
    Experience with Motor Control solutions.
    Ability to work independently with strong analytical skills, self-motivated and
    excellent interpersonal skills.
    Willingness to travel (regional).
    Fluent English speaking.
