    Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in PLC programming and automated systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in PLC's, sensors, equipment wiring, and troubleshooting electric cabinets, distributed control systems and be a US citizen or green card holder. Familiarity with NEC and UL requirements for commercial spaces is a plus. The successful candidate will possess traits such as conscientiousness, hardworking attitude, self-motivation, project ownership, sound decision-making skills, a hands-on approach, and strong problem-solving.

    Responsibilities:

    Own installation of industrial controls at customer site for duration of project.

    Summarize project issues and corrective measures.

    Design review, install, train, troubleshoot and service PLC programs, electric cabinets and distributed control systems with high and low voltage components, sensors, motors and motor controllers at customers sites.

    Use standard and advanced electrical troubleshooting equipment.

    Review, assemble, optimize and troubleshoot electro-mechanical systems.

    Participate in the selection of contractors and review the materials they submit.

    Responsible for confirming utilities.

    Maintain schedule of electrical and controls installation according to the project plan and schedule, independently resolve abnormal situations to ensure the progress of construction.

    Responsible for quality supervision and management of electrical and controls installation during the construction process, ensuring that the engineering quality meets design requirements, quality standards, and contract requirements.

    Able to review and select appropriate temperature, pressure, vibration, flow, and other sensors ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

    Ensure compliance with necessary regulations and requirements for customers and commercial spaces in all electrical designs and installations.

    Responsible for driving customer acceptance work, drive corrective actions during the acceptance process, and providing operation and maintenance training to customers.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, service engineers, project managers, customers, inspectors and technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

    Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, customers and technicians as needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

    2+ years of experience in PLC programming and control systems, preferably with Siemens TIA, GP-Pro EX and Easybuilder.

    Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting in distributed control systems.

    Proficiency in selecting, configuring, and troubleshooting various types of process sensors.

    Experience with NEC and UL requirements for commercial spaces is a plus.

    Experience with CAD and E-plan software for electrical design.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

    Highly motivated with a proactive approach to work and project ownership.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Able to walk, bend, climb stairs, climb ladders, sit, stand and work at a computer for extended periods, safely navigate a construction site and carry up to 50 lbs.

    Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

    Travel as needed (up to 90%) primarily in North America and occasionally internationally to service customers, attend training and participate in system commissioning.

    Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Profinet, S7, EIP).

    Experience with SCADA systems (WINCC, Ignition).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with CSA standards.

    Fluent in Mandarin, spoken and written.

    Canadian citizen with US green card or dual national.
