This role is essential for supporting the efficient transshipment of goods and materials in warehouses, shipping docks, manufacturing facilities, and similar environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and inspection of forklifts to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair forklifts, addressing issues identified through test drives or driver reports.
• Maintain detailed records of service cycles, repairs, and parts replacements.
• Follow all industry safety regulations and company protocols.
• Place requisitions for necessary spare parts and ensure proper use and storage of repair tools and testing equipment.
• Assist with other maintenance or operational tasks as directed by the supervising manager.

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in environments with exposure to fumes, chemicals, loud noises, and varying temperatures.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, are required.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and elevated work areas.
• May work in wet, humid, cold, or hot conditions.
• Noise levels range from moderate to industrial levels.
