This role is essential for supporting the efficient transshipment of goods and materials in warehouses, shipping docks, manufacturing facilities, and similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine service and inspection of forklifts to ensure operational safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair forklifts, addressing issues identified through test drives or driver reports.
- Maintain detailed records of service cycles, repairs, and parts replacements.
- Follow all industry safety regulations and company protocols.
- Place requisitions for necessary spare parts and ensure proper use and storage of repair tools and testing equipment.
- Assist with other maintenance or operational tasks as directed by the supervising manager.
