Job Description

1. Lifts live chickens off of a moving conveyor belt and hangs them on overhead shackles.
2. Operate and controls the speed of the conveyor belt with knee-controlled lever.
3. Remove birds off the conveyor that are deemed “Dead on Arrival”.
4. Utilize high pressure hose to wash empty coops and trailers.
5. Picks up “Dead on Arrival” and loose chickens off of the floor.
6. Cleans up feathers and other debris into gondola or tanks.

Qualifications

1. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+hrs) on concrete/metal grate ergo stands or on the floor
2. Good hand-eye coordination.  Ability to meet company established standards. 
3. Repetitive grasping, pushing and pulling motions, torso twisting and lifting of 4 to 10 pounds.
4. Able to work in a dark, dusty, cold or hot environment.

Additional Information

Pay up to $19.50/hr

$1.00/hr more for night shift differential
