Today we are hiring a Founding Forward Deployed AI Engineer for our client in San Francisco, CA.

This client is a San Francisco-based company specializing in AI-powered process automation software tailored for modern enterprises. Their platform enables insurance brokerages to scale accounts without increasing headcount by automating tasks such as proposal generation, policy comparison, and policy checking.

The company is a Generative AI startup revolutionizing enterprise automation by eliminating repetitive, manual workflows in industries like insurance and banking. As a Founding Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will work closely with enterprise customers, the founding team, and our technical experts to implement AI workflows that drive millions in value.

Salary: $130k-$155k • Equity

Core Requirements

1-2+ years of industry experience in software development or solutions engineering, preferably with a focus on AI.

Proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, or similar languages.

2+ years of professional experience in a customer-facing engineering role (e.g., founding engineer, solutions engineer, forward deployed engineer).

Strong product mindset with a focus on UX and customer needs.

Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Excited to take ownership, iterate quickly, and wear multiple hats in an early-stage startup.

Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-first workflows is a big plus.
