Intern / Co-Op - Component Analysis - BG/DS - LYH - May 2022
Responsible for the balancing, maintaining and reconciling of the credit union's general ledger accounts in accordance with credit union policies/procedures, General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and NCUA guidelines and procedures. Analyzes financial information and prepares financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the organization.

• Accurate and attentive to detail • Good verbal and written communication skills • Professional appearance, dress, and attitude • Good math skills • Able to use phone, PC, calculator, and other basic business machines • Above average knowledge of Excel, average knowledge of Word, Outlook and Power Point.
• Must be able to demonstrate established competency levels for all required regulatory or compliance-related processes and/or procedures within established timeframes of appointment
Required Experience
Minimum three (3) years of accounting or similar/related experience.
PLUS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university (2 years of relevant Accounting experience may be substituted for every year of college)
