    Position Overview

    Under limited supervision, performs Project Support job functions as assigned by management. Typical job responsibilities assist and support management in ensuring that all site Project Support are conducted in a manner that is safe, cost effective and fully compliant with FBP procedures and all contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities that assist and support management in one or more of the following functional areas, in addition to other duties as assigned:

    § Plans, schedules and organizes the work to ensure utilization of employees and compliance with all contract requirements, quality standards and budgetary guidelines

    § Ensures staffing levels of supervised personnel are maintained in a manner which allows the effective execution of the assigned scope of work at all times

    § Instructs employees on the work methods and performance expectations

    § Provides leadership and motivation to subordinate personnel

    § Maintains close working relationship with senior management and/or operational management in ensuring Project Support services are being properly executed and needs of the company are met

    § Interfaces with groups inside and outside the organization, senior management, other locations, auditors and client representatives

    § Develop or review/update of various plans, policies or procedures as needed

    § Responsible for personnel actions and performance appraisals

    § Administratively responsible for the total fiscal and administrative functions of a project including office services, contract administration, procurement, warehousing, accounting, timekeeping, payroll and document control

    § Interfaces with project and client management to ensure project support functions operate within project standard practice and procedures and contract provisions

    § Coordinates the work activity of all involved crafts within a discipline with the entire construction effort

    § Responsible for the supervision of the performance of all field construction activities within a discipline in conformance with plan, specifications, schedules and cost estimates

    § Participates in business development activities

    § Responsible for the total operation of all assigned projects

    § Administers contract in accordance with policies and procedures for the maximum benefit of the project and client

    § Manages assigned projects and administrative systems

    § Plans, develops, coordinates and directs all activities related to service functions within one or more medium to large projects

    § Budgetary responsibility

    § Provides technical and/or functional support to the Project Support team

    § Perform duties complex in nature

    § Other job related duties as assigned

    § Maintains knowledge of and demonstrates ability to perform work safely in accordance with all approved safety policies, procedures and applicable regulations and performs assigned duties in a safe manner. If supervising others, has responsibility for the safety of those being supervised and ensures they comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits

    § Actively participates in Safety Work Groups

    Working Conditions

    Work in an office at a normal environmental restoration atmosphere (outdated and/or abandoned facilities or industrial field environments). May also work at off-project sites representing the organization at various types of locations throughout the community for business purposes. Potential exposure to equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals/solvents or hazards, legacy facility condition hazards, electrical hazards, environmental hazards, industrial hazards, and radioactive materials if proper safety procedures are not followed.

    Training associated with job-specific and general site hazards may be (is) required.

    Ability to perform sedentary to light work, exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (any exertion of force/lifting greater than 45 pounds requires usage of a two person “buddy system”), non-repetitive, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly, repetitive; performing such activities as lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, grasping, kneeling, stooping, reaching, climbing stairs, operating a motor vehicle, and noise from operating equipment.

    Ability to perform primary office duties including heavy computer usage.

    Ability to wear PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and a hard hat.

    In some cases radiological training may be required.

    Required Experience

    ** Minimum Requirements**

    BA/BS degree in a related field and 11 years of project managerial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Typical experience ranges from 11 - 14 years.

    1.Possess Class 3 Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Water Treatment Operators Certification

    2. Possess Class 3 Ohio Environmental Protection Agency Wastewater Treatment Operators Certification

    3. Possess Bachelor Degree In Physical Sciences, Engineering or Related Area

    4. Possess Strong Background In Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biological Science As Related To Water Treatment

    5. Minimum Of 10 Years Work Experience In Water Treatment Plant Operations and Management

    6. Perform Duties As Required To Function As Ohio EPA Operator Of Record (OOR) For 4.0 Million Gallon Per Day Groundwater Treatment Water System

    7. Direct Ohio EPA Monitoring Requirements For Site Potable Water Supply

    8. Generate Monthly Operating Reports (MOR) To Ohio EPA For Site Potable Water Supply

    9. Communicate With Ohio EPA Southeast District and Central Offices As Needed

    10. Generate Monthly Utilities Services Report For Plant Site Distribution

    11. Generate Monthly Natural Gas Usage Calculations Report For Plant Site Distribution

    12. Generate Monthly Rainfall Data Report For National Weather Service

    13. Support/Interface With Plant Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, Receiving, and Others As Required

    14. Support/Interface With Site D&D and Plant Projects As Required
