  • Responsibilities

    The Mortgage Marketing Associate executes and/or assists in the implementation of marketing strategies and objectives supporting projects and programs for specific products and services. The Mortgage Marketing Associate also aids in the execution of traditional and digital marketing tactics designed to reach multiple audiences using various communications channels.

    1. Creates high-impact, brand-centric and differentiated written content for marketing and communication-related materials, such as advertisements, flyers, presentations, announcements, newsletters, surveys, press releases, testimonials, etc. (30%)

    2. Creates and executes social media plan, including creation of an editorial calendar; content posting, monitoring and responding; growing myCUmortgage’s social presence; and serving as point of contact for social media management platform. (25%)

    3. Provides and assists with creative layout and design of marketing deliverables through the Adobe Creative Suite, including basic graphics, marketing collateral, emails, internal communication pieces, etc. Basic photography skills a plus but not required. (20%)

    4. Assists with the CUSO’s web content management per branding parameters to maximize visitors, new PCU sales opportunities, material usage and downloads; learns and assists with other marketing systems, including email marketing platform, CRM system, Microsoft Suite of products, etc. (15%)

    5. Other duties as assigned, such as – but not limited to – assisting other team members with coordination of campaigns and events, trade show preparation and public relations. Ensures proper policies, procedures, risk mitigation activities and operating controls are followed for regulatory compliance. (10%)

    Required Skills

    1. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field. Educational disciplines: marketing, communication, branding, member/market research, public relations, internet and copywriting.

    2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including copywriting.

    3. Knowledge or experience in use of web content and social media management systems.

    4. Demonstrates knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or ability to learn software.

    5. Familiarity with CRM tools, such as Google Analytics.

    6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment as an individual contributor with minimal supervision.

    7. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
