    Construction company based out of East County of San Diego, servicing the greater San Diego area, specializing in residential construction.

    THIS IS A LEADERSHIP POSITION AND 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS AN EXPERT IS REQUIRED.

    Framing Foreman/Lead Carpenter - overseeing and managing all of the field aspects of construction projects from start to finish.

    Onsite project lead and supervisor assigning tasks and working with, and alongside the crew, to begin and complete foundations and structural framing.

    Will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and construction crews to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your

    Leadership and expertise will be critical in maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

    Mentoring and training the crew to be more competent in their trade by sharing your knowledge and experience.

    Responsibilities:

    Project Oversight: In the field phase management of construction projects, including planning and scheduling. Must be able to master ground up builds, from foundation to framing and beyond. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and monitor crew performance. Motivate construction crews and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality workmanship. Safety: Promote and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on the job site. Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards and ensure that work meets or exceeds specifications and client expectations and is up to code. Scheduling: Work with Project Managers on maintaining schedules, and making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines. Communication: Possess strong interpersonal skills and communicate clearly and effectively with construction crew, clients, subcontractors and project managers. Be able to pass on knowledge and train less experienced crew members in a positive way. Problem Solving: Demonstrate critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt quickly, pivoting when necessary, and managing numerous jobs sites within service area. Identify and address issues and obstacles that may arise during construction, finding effective solutions to keep projects on track.

    Qualifications:

    • Highly experienced framing lead/foreman specializing in residential construction.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and build off construction plans and blueprints.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
    • Works well in a team environment and has a positive attitude.
    • Solid knowledge of foundations and framing.
    • Strong general knowledge of other trades.
    • Must have reliable transportation and own tools
