GENERAL SUMMARY: BODYBAR Pilates is a rapidly growing boutique Pilates franchise focused on delivering high-energy, community-driven reformer Pilates experiences. We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead our social media strategy, performance marketing efforts, and franchisee support, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence across digital channels. This role will focus on brand storytelling, community engagement, content creation, digital advertising, and franchisee support to drive awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement. The Marketing Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Marketing, contributing to the company’s brand marketing strategy, brand image and visibility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand and Campaign Management
Develop and execute marketing campaigns to support brand awareness, membership growth, and franchise expansion.
Create and implement a multi-channel content strategy that aligns with national marketing campaigns, promotions, and franchisee needs.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure cohesive visual and messaging strategies.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels, working with internal teams and franchisees
Monitor industry trends and make recommendations to keep content fresh and engaging.
Content Creation and Brand Storytelling
Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar aligned with marketing objectives, promotions, and key business events.
Generate creative and compelling content, including images, videos, and written posts, that align with BODYBAR Pilates’ brand voice and positioning.
Partner with franchise owners and instructors to develop studio-specific content that maintains brand consistency.
Craft engaging captions and messaging that resonate with BODYBAR’s boutique fitness community.
Identify and manage influencer partnerships to expand BODYBAR’s reach and engagement.
Digital Advertising and Performance Marketing
Develop and execute paid social media campaigns (Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to drive lead generation and brand awareness.
Coordinate with internal teams (Education, Studio Development, and Operations) to integrate digital marketing initiatives with broader brand strategies.
Assist with managing BODYBAR Pilates’ social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
Oversee Google Ads strategy to ensure BODYBAR appears in relevant fitness and wellness searches.
Track, analyze, and optimize ad performance, audience insights, and campaign ROI.
Work closely with agencies and vendors to ensure alignment on digital growth strategies.
Community Engagement and Franchisee Support
Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely, professional manner.
Provide marketing guidance, tools, and resources to franchise owners to drive local studio success.
Work closely with studio owners and staff to support local marketing efforts, events, and promotions through tailored social media campaigns.
Develop localized marketing playbooks, digital toolkits, and best practices.
Lead training sessions for franchisees to enhance local engagement and educate franchise owners on effective social media usage and community events.
Analytics and Reporting
Monitor key performance metrics (engagement, reach, conversions, cost per lead).
Provide monthly reports highlighting marketing performance, ad spend effectiveness, and areas for improvement.
Lead setup and management of systems, including Yext, Cision (PR distribution), and email.
Plan and oversee brand activations, sponsorships, and in-studio events.
Leadership & Additional Responsibilities
Support the VP of Marketing in guiding and overseeing the marketing team’s deliverables as needed.
Represent BODYBAR at industry events, conferences, and in community engagements to enhance brand visibility and establish thought leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
5+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, digital marketing or a related field (preferably in fitness, wellness, and/or franchising)
Proven track record in paid media advertising (Meta Ads, Google Ads) and data-driven campaign optimization.
Strong content creation skills (video, photo, and written) with a deep understanding of brand storytelling.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
Experience in community engagement and multi-location/multi-unit marketing
Proficiency in analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics) with the ability to track performance and drive strategic improvements.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Expertise in social media platform management, audience engagement, and social listening tools to track brand sentiment and optimize content strategy.
Proficiency in creating and editing still and video content using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Adobe Premiere to produce high-quality, on-brand visuals.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple campaigns, content calendars, and franchisee support efficiently.
Excellent communication, copywriting, and storytelling abilities, with a creative mindset and a keen eye for brand-aligned design.
Ability to analyze social media performance metrics and translate data into actionable strategies.
Collaborative team player with cross-functional experience, ensuring cohesive messaging and execution across marketing, operations, and franchise teams.
Knowledge of industry trends in marketing, consumer behavior, fitness, wellness, or franchising, with the ability to apply these insights to the BODYBAR brand.
Passion for fitness and wellness, with an understanding of Pilates and boutique fitness concepts.
