Someone who will strategically use marketing data to help build and implement marketing plans and initiatives to support Sweetwaters franchisees and continue building Sweetwaters into the most successful and respected coffee & tea franchisor.

How You’ll Make An Impact
As our Franchise Marketing Manager you will be responsible for helping franchisees increase sales and profitability through engagement in our marketing programs and sales channels. Additionally, you will continually develop new programs and strategies to increase the competitive edge of the brand and franchisees. One of the ways you will do this is by assessing analytics and developing insights and sharing your recommendations.
This involves leveraging cross functional work and expertise from internal team members and external agencies to develop strategies and sell-in platforms to drive adoption with franchisees. This role is responsible for:
• Leading cross-functional teams to roll out new marketing programs/initiatives, new vendors, and new tools to franchisees
• Digital marketing, participating in the creative development and implementation of the digital marketing plan including digital ad management, Point of Sale (POS) conquesting, website management, SEO, social media and third party platforms
• Evaluating marketing programs and performance; analyzing, developing insights and recommendations to drive improvement on key performance indicators
• Developing relationships with franchisees, engaging with them to improve their business performance
• Serving as a liaison between franchise community and marketing leadership in order to bring valuable insights and feedback that will assist in ensuring programs and initiatives are delivering anticipated results
• Leading the creative execution with agencies and coordination of vendors for the development of marketing collateral materials • Managing direct reports to ensure programs/initiatives are on track and reaching stated goals.
What You Have
• Bachelors' degree
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. • This is not a remote position. You must be willing to come into our office in downtown Ann Arbor.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant integrated marketing, and/or ad agency. Experience in a franchise company is a plus.
• Analytical & Insight Skills: You like to dive into the data to figure out not only what is happening but what is not and why. You have successfully used data & insights to create a compelling case for action.
Influencing Without Authority: You enjoy building strong relationships with direct reports, peers, and superiors across multiple departments, and leverage internal resources to new ideas and best practices to franchisees.
• Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills are your cornerstone, along with the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale initiatives.
• Strong Communicator: Excellent writing and presentation skills. You like to make difficult marketing concepts readily understood, anticipating and addressing the concerns of busy franchise business owners to make it easy for franchisees to engage and implement ideas.
• Integrity and Trust: It’s who you are, you can quickly gain the respect and trust of our franchisees and Home Office Team by demonstrating competency and expertise while working in a collaborative way to achieve win-win solutions.
• Leadership: You like to lead & go beyond the normal boundaries of this role and assume a greater responsibility to drive overall performance of the business.
• Eager Learner: Curiosity and expanding knowledge are what you crave and you desire to add new areas to your growing marketing expertise.

• Google Suite & Google Analytics

• Point of Sale systems (cloud based i.e. Toast, Square, Clover)
• Social Media platform expertise (Loomly, Sprout, YEXT, Social Pilot, etc.)
