The Franchise Performance Manager (FPM) plays a vital role in supporting and driving success across the BODYBAR franchise network. The FPM is responsible for overseeing the operations of three jointly owned franchise locations, providing direct support to franchisees, and facilitating training and development initiatives for studio staff and owners. This position focuses on optimizing the performance of all studios, with a specialized emphasis on assisting underperforming or distressed locations. The FPM is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence by ensuring professional communication, consistent follow-up, and proactive problem-solving. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Growth, this role blends strategic oversight with hands-on coaching to elevate the performance of franchise studios and enhance their profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Growth & Studio Performance
Develop and refine strategic plans to drive revenue growth and profitability across studios, with a focus on underperforming locations.
Collaborate with franchisees to create and implement business plans that align with BODYBAR’s vision and objectives.
Set measurable goals, monitor progress, and deliver performance solutions to ensure studios meet or exceed operational and financial targets.
Analyze market trends and member feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
Franchise Support
Build collaborative relationships with franchisees, providing guidance to elevate studio performance.
Provide support to performing studios to ensure continued success, while focusing on elevating studios requiring additional support, guidance, and performance management.
Act as a resource and advisor for operational challenges, offering strategic solutions and guidance.
Assist new studios post-opening with training, goal-setting, and operational setup.
Training and Development
Facilitate ongoing training programs for studio owners and staff to ensure adherence to BODYBAR’s operational and brand standards.
Provide specialized coaching to owners and teams of distressed studios, focusing on leadership, operations, and member engagement.
Work cross-functionally to develop and refine training materials and curricula to address evolving franchise needs.
Auditing and Compliance
Conduct studio audits to ensure adherence to operational, branding, and quality standards.
Address non-compliance issues and implement corrective measures in collaboration with franchisees.
Report audit findings and performance outcomes to senior leadership.
Leadership & Management
Oversee the daily operations of three jointly owned franchise locations, ensuring they meet BODYBAR's operational standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of studio and fitness managers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Recruit, train, and support team members, conducting regular performance evaluations, offering consistent feedback, and managing disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.
Resolve any escalated member or employee issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction and staff engagement.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Oversee studio specific social media, digital, and business-to-business channels to ensure consistent activity, engagement, and brand continuity
Collaborate with franchisees and the marketing team on local marketing initiatives to drive membership growth and enhance brand presence.
Encourage innovative member engagement strategies to build community and loyalty within studios.
Represent BODYBAR at events to build brand awareness and community relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a multi-unit management role within the fitness, hospitality, or retail industry.
Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving financial targets.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
