    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Freelance B2B Sales Development professional to join our team on a project basis. This will be an independent contractor role that can be contract-to-hire for star performers who are interested in being brought on fulltime. If hired fulltime, the role will include a base salary of $48,000 plus a generous commission and bonus structure, full benefits and will be 100% remote. The trial period will last for up to 3 months, at which time it will either be determined by both parties that it's a good fit to be hired fulltime or that it's not a good fit and part as friends.

    As a Freelance Sales Development representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify and generate sales opportunities to support our company's growth - some leads will be provided but half of your leads should be self-generated. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proven track record in lead generation, and a strong understanding of the sales process.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Generation: Utilize various strategies to identify and qualify potential leads, including cold calling, email marketing campaigns, social media prospecting, and networking.
    • Prospecting: Conduct research to identify and target potential clients in the designated market segment, using available tools and resources
    • Client Outreach: Contact prospective clients and engage in meaningful conversations to understand their needs and identify opportunities for our products or services.
    • Qualify Sales Opportunities: Conduct initial discovery calls to qualify leads and determine their fit with our offerings, effectively managing objections and addressing questions.
    • Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments or demos between qualified leads and the sales team, ensuring a smooth handover of information.
    • Sales Funnel Management: Manage and update sales pipeline and CRM database to track opportunities, activities, and progress, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting.
    • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to align efforts and provide necessary support during the sales process, assisting in proposal creation, follow-ups, and closing deals.
    • Performance Tracking: Continuously monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of lead generation strategies, make data-driven improvements, and achieve sales targets.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative or similar role, preferably in a freelance capacity. Must have B2B sales development experience!
    • Strong knowledge of lead generation techniques and tools, including social media platforms, CRM systems, and sales automation tools.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with potential clients.
    • Self-motivated, driven, and target-oriented individual with a passion for sales and a can-do attitude.
    • Ability to work independently and manage own time effectively, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
    • Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and market dynamics.
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed targets and drive revenue growth.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience working remotely or as a freelancer is a plus.
    • Familiarity with the industry or product/service category is advantageous.

    Please note, this is a freelance opportunity, and the work will be performed on a project basis. The compensation will be based on agreed-upon terms and may include a combination of fixed fees and commission-based incentives.
