Freelance Digital Editorial Producer, Milan Cortina Olympics - NBC Sports
Job Description
** PLEASE NOTE : This is a project/limited term position with an estimated duration of 11 months between May 2025 – March 2026 or 1 month during Gamestime, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within the project are completed.**
As a Digital Editorial Producer, you will be part of the digital editorial team telling the stories of the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics/Paralympics across NBCOlympics.com, Peacock, and various digital platforms. You are responsible for the day-to-day creation and publishing of content, including but not limited to: competition recaps and preview articles, athlete profiles, “How to Watch” and other SEO-friendly guides, coverage of Olympic Trials, titling and metadata for Olympic live streams, headlines and descriptions for short-form video, and breaking news updates.
Leading up to the Games, you will become an expert in their sports’ rules, athletes, history and more, and during the Games, they will monitor live action and developing storylines within their assigned sports, curating NBCOlympics.com pages that correspond to their assigned sport(s). You will be part of the at-home NBC Olympics team based in our Stamford, Connecticut headquarters.
