    We are seeking an energetic and experienced theater instructor to join our team! As a theater instructor you will lead a class of students through a successful school year, creating and implementing a comprehensive performing arts curriculum. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for children

    Responsibilities:

    Plan a classroom curriculum that meets From the Heart Standards

    Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills

    Prepare any necessary learning materials

    Assist with creating play

    Assisting students with learning their lines and blocking

    Document students’ learning progress

    Collaborate with other teachers and school personnel to create a healthy and safe learning environment

    Assist with students to create creative theater pieces

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree or higher but not required

    Previous experience teaching at the k-12 level is preferred

    Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management

    Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
