    Job Description: Front Desk Agent Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown

    Position Overview: As a Front Desk Agent at Hotel Indigo Kansas City Downtown, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. You will also manage communications and operations using advanced systems such as Opera PMS, Kipsu, and Quore. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Guest Services:

    • Welcome guests warmly and provide a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

    • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests professionally and efficiently.

    • Manage reservations and maintain accurate guest records using Opera PMS.

    • Facilitate communication with guests via Kipsu to provide personalized service.

    Operational Support:

    • Use Quore for tracking and resolving guest service requests and maintenance issues.

    • Handle room assignments, adjustments, and group block setups in Opera PMS.

    • Process payments accurately and ensure compliance with company financial policies.

    • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness.

    Collaboration:

    • Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

    • Support the Guest Relations Agent and other team members as needed.

    • Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus.

    • Proficiency in Opera PMS, Kipsu, and Quore systems is required.

    • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role, preferably in hospitality.

    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

    • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

    Physical and General Requirements:
