    Location: 40 Bridge St, Salem, MA JOB SUMMARY We are in need of an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to embody hospitality at The Cove Hotel. This position involves more than typical front desk tasks; it's about creating outstanding guest experiences and ensuring each stay is unforgettable. You will oversee operations at our sister location as well to ensure smooth and exceptional stays for our 51 rooms in total. As the friendly face of our hotels, you will make a lasting impression on our guests, ensuring that every interaction is significant. Your aim is to ensure every guest feels valued, comfortable, and delighted from the moment they step into our cozy retreat. Schedule: • Sunday to Thursday: 8 AM - 8 PM • Friday and Saturday: 8 AM - 10 PM • Weekend availability is mandatory Full-Time Position Responsibilities: • Keep the front desk area tidy and well-stocked with necessary supplies (pens, forms, paper, etc.). • Greet and welcome guests with a warm, genuine smile. • Answer guest inquiries and address complaints with patience and professionalism. • Handle all incoming calls and either redirect them or take messages. • Receive and distribute letters, packages, and deliveries. • Check, sort, and forward emails promptly. • Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed. • Keep accurate and updated records and files. • Assist with additional tasks as assigned, such as travel arrangements and scheduling. • Oversee operations at The Beverly Hotel, ensuring seamless contactless check-ins and guest satisfaction. • Guide guests through their entire stay, from check-in to check-out, ensuring their needs are met. • Share local area highlights and recommendations with guests. • Take a hands-on approach to operational needs, addressing guest requests, and completing reports. Qualifications: Requirements: • Proven experience as a front desk representative, agent, or similar role. • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers). • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping. • Proficient in English (both oral and written). • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Good organizational and multitasking abilities. • Problem-solving skills. • Customer service orientation. • High School diploma; additional qualifications are a plus. Compensation: $16 - $18 yearly
