A successful Front Desk/Customer Service Associate is outgoing, self-motivated, an independent problem solver, and a compassionate dog lover! We are looking for a motivated team member who wants to advance their career through our training path to become a Scenthound Manager!
About the Position:
The Front Desk/Customer Service Associate is a key position at Scenthound, focused on providing exceptional service to every customer and dog, rebooking appointments, educating dog parents on the Scenthound concept and selling monthly memberships. Providing an excellent customer experience will be a priority!
This position requires:
A visionary mindset, someone ready to embark on a new and fun journey at Scenthound South Tampa!
Customer service experience required (pet, retail, restaurant is preferred)
Sales experience and confidence selling monthly membership are highly desired
A passion for dogs and dog health & wellness!
Computer/ Technology proficiency
Availability Monday through Saturday 8am-6pm (no evening or Sunday shifts)
Attention to detail
Time-management; Scheduling appointments efficiently

Tasks:
Educate consumers on the Scenthound Brand
Confidence in selling monthly memberships based on the needs of each dog
Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human!) and provide outstanding customer service
Follow up on daily sales leads for potential new members/dog parents
Follow up with customers to book future appointments
Greet customers and answer phone calls
Manage customer profiles and records
Handle cash and credit cards transactions
Manage customer expectations; Resolve customer concerns
Adhere to Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practices – keep the reception area clean and presentable
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the General Manager
Effective communication with team members and dog parents (in person and on the phone)
