    ROLE OVERVIEW Wondering what it's like to be a Front Desk Associate at Olde Harbour Inn?

    Welcome guests courteously and enthusiastically.

    Facilitate guest arrival and departure experience.

    Answer questions about room and hotel information, in addition to local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions for guests.

    Run daily reports, reviewing to see what needs to be communicated with coworkers and management.

    Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift securely.

    Book direct phone reservations, accurately communicating hotel rates and information, and using suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, increase occupancy and revenue.

    Provide individual recommendations and help with reservations and itinerary planning.

    Physical Abilities:

    Maintain a high level of activity throughout your shift.

    Regularly bend, lift, push, pull, carry, and handle objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

    Occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

    Stand and walk for the duration of your shift.

    Be comfortable with repetitive motions.

    Education & Experience:

    No high school diploma or GED required. This opportunity is open to those without formal education qualifications.

    Suitable for those just starting their careers or returning to the workforce with limited prior experience.

    Basic English communication skills are a must, encompassing both written and verbal abilities.
