Job Summary
We are seeking a positive, reliable Front Desk Concierge to join our team. You will be working at the main entrance desk of the hotel. As a Hotel Concierge, you will be the first person to greet hotel customers. Their first impression of the business will depend on your friendliness and efficiency.
The goal of the Hotel Concierge is to create an overall pleasant and welcoming customer experience to ensure sustainable growth of the business and increase our reputation.
The ideal candidate will be a trustworthy, quick-thinker. You must be able to handle multiple incoming requests and protect the hotel and residents by monitoring who comes in and out of the premises.
Responsibilities
Greet customers as they enter the building
Confirm reservations
Provide guests with information and/or personalized assistance
Possess extensive knowledge of the premises and nearby businesses in order to make quality recommendations
Arrange events and transportation for guests as requested
Answer the hotel phone and make reservations
Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution
Qualifications
Proven experience as concierge or experience in customer service is preferred
Confident, polite, and patient
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong time-management skills
Ability to resolve issues with a customer-focused orientation
