We're looking for a friendly enthusiastic, and organized individual to join the team and help continue this mission.

    As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the face of our practice, responsible for ensuring seamless patient experiences. Your duties will involve answering phones, greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, processing insurance claims, and coordinating with the clinical team to ensure accurate documentation and coding. Even if you have excellent customer service experience outside of dentistry and may be interested in a new career path, we would love to train the right person! Experience not necessary.

    This position is being offered as Full-Time (4 days a week).

    Responsibilities Include:

    1. Greeting patients upon arrival, ensuring that patient charts and route sheets are located in the proper place, notifying other staff of patient arrival, and proactively monitoring the timeliness of treatment staff.
    2. Downloading and organizing patient radiographs and information into Dentrix.
    3. Maintaining referral information and emails and contacting referral offices to request necessary information.
    4. Answering multi-line phones in a courteous and timely manner.
    5. Ensuring appointment hours are filled in accordance with appointment scheduling guidelines.
    6. Confirming appointments and following up with patients regarding missed appointments via telephone, and see to the proper use and operation of the automated reminder system.
    7. Reviewing patient schedule daily and weekly, updating and maintaining patient insurance information/general notes before appointments.
    8. Obtaining and demonstrating a good working knowledge of the office's dental practice management software program, and the important business activities related to its use, including but not limited to scheduling, payment process, and submission of insurance.
    9. Closing office duties such as reconciling check deposits and credit card payments, logging out of all computers, locking doors/setting alarm.

    Highly qualified candidates will possess most or all of the following:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Strong customer service skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate professionally and kindly.
    • Proficient computer skills.
    • 1+ years' of dental experience, preferred.
    • Experience with Dentrix software, preferred.

    Schedule & Benefits:

    • Full-time position with benefits including medical, paid company holidays, paid time off, retirement plan.
    • Availability: Monday & Tuesday (7:15am - 5:30pm) and Thursday & Friday (7:15am - 3:30pm).
