About the Role: We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist with strong multitasking skills to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates with medical assistant experience. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients and providing essential administrative and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet patients warmly and provide a pleasant, professional experience.
Confirm appointments and surgeries through phone calls and text messages.
Assist walk-ins with inquiries, scheduling, and necessary paperwork.
Administrative Duties:
Handle multi-line phone systems to answer, transfer, and take messages.
Assist with mailing and correspondence.
Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, appointments, and follow-ups.
Support billing processes as needed.
Clinical Support (Preferred for Medical Assistants):
Room patients and take vitals.
Perform pre-operative blood draws and EKGs.
Assist in scheduling pre-op appointments and follow-ups.
Qualifications:
Excellent phone communication skills and the ability to handle a high volume of calls.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to provide clear, friendly, and professional communication with patients and staff.
Medical assistant certification is preferred but not required.
Experience in drawing blood, taking vitals, and performing EKGs is a plus.
Familiarity with billing systems and medical scheduling software is beneficial.
